Rather predictable result when eighth rankedEtoile Angers (15-19) defeated at home 12th ranked Metz (10-24) 88-71 on Wednesday. Angers dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Metz 's 30. Angers forced 22 Metz turnovers and outrebounded them 31-19 including 20 on the defensive glass. Angers looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was guard Yanis Harrath (178-1998) who scored 14 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists. Naturalized Ivorian swingman Junior Ouattara (191-2000) chipped in 17 points. American guard Collin Turner (185-1995, college: Angelo St.) produced 22 points and 6 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and Tyron Minfir (197-2002) added 13 points respectively for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Metz's coach Alexandre Palfroy let to play ten players seeing no chance for a win.
