There was no surprise in Paris where 14th rankedPole France (3-31) was outplayed by eighth ranked Charleville-Mezieres (15-19) 101-69 on Friday. Charleville shot 65.0 percent from the field. They also forced 22 Pole France turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. The best player for the winners was naturalized Angolan forward Melvyn Da Silva (198-1999) who scored 22 points and 4 assists (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). Forward Theo Pichard (197-2005) chipped in 18 points and 9 assists (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Four Charleville-Mezieres players scored in double figures. Forward Messi Yangala (203-2009) produced 13 points and 8 rebounds and swingman Nateo Des Bordes (194-2008) added 14 points and 4 assists respectively for the hosts. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Charleville-Mezieres have an impressive six-game winning streak. They moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Angers. Pole France lost tenth consecutive game. They keep the fourteenth position with 31 games lost.
