Very expected game when 16th rankedLe Portel (1-24) was smashed at home by eighth ranked Le Mans (15-11) 94-72 on Saturday. Le Mans looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Guard Bastien Grasshoff (193-2007) notched 14 points and 6 assists to lead the effort and American forward David DiLeo (199-1997, college: CMU) supported him with 18 points. Four Le Mans players scored in double figures. Coach Guillaume Vizade's team had such big advantage that he gave the chance to play for all 12 players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Even 20 points and 7 rebounds by guard Kylian Mpete (191-2006) did not help to save the game for Le Portel . Lucas Fischer (193-2004) added 23 points and 4 assists for the hosts. Le Mans maintains eighth position with 15-11 record. Le Portel lost nineteenth consecutive game. Newly promoted team stay dead last with 24 lost games.
