There was a small surprise when ninth rankedBerck (21-14) defeated on the road 7th ranked Toulouse (21-14) 88-79 on Friday. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Berck made 19-of-21 free shots (90.5 percent) during the game. Berck outrebounded Toulouse 46-24 including a 28-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. American guard Raijon Kelly (193-1993, college: Angelo St.) stepped up and scored 25 points, 9 assists and 4 steals for the winners and power forward Alexis Thomas (208-1995) chipped in 17 points and 13 rebounds. Berck's coach Raphael Pascual used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was Stephan Gauthier (192-1995) with 10 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists and Rene Louis-Therese (203-2004) scored 18 points and 5 rebounds. Four Toulouse players scored in double figures. Berck have a solid series of four victories in a row. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with 4 other teams including defeated Toulouse .
