Regular Season Round 27: Gravelines - Le Mans 83-96

Not a big story in a game when 14th rankedGravelines-Dunkerque (8-19) was defeated at home by eighth ranked Le Mans (16-11) 96-83 on Saturday. It was a great shooting night for Le Mans especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.4 percentage. The best player for the winners was guard Bastien Grasshoff (193-2007) who scored 20 points and 5 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Eritrean-Canadian guard Johnny Berhanemeskel (188-1992, college: Ottawa) chipped in 15 points and 5 rebounds. Le Mans' coach Guillaume Vizade used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Valentin Chery (200-1997) who recorded a double-double by scoring 11 points and 11 rebounds and American-Qatari guard Mike Lewis II (186-1998, college: Duquesne) added 18 points respectively. Five Le Mans and four Gravelines players scored in double figures. Le Mans moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Cholet. Loser Gravelines-Dunkerque keeps the fourteenth position with 19 games lost.
