There was a minor upset when 8th rankedBerck (21-15) lost at home to eleventh ranked Lourdes-Tarbes (20-15) 72-67 on Tuesday. Tarbes-Lourdes made 17-of-17 free shots (100 percent !!!) during the game. Cameroonian guard Fabien Ateba (192-1991) notched 25 points to lead the effort and Guinean-Ivorian swingman Ahmed Doumbia (195-1989) supported him with 11 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Even a double-double of 12 points and 10 rebounds by power forward Alexis Thomas (208-1995) did not help to save the game for Berck . American guard Raijon Kelly (193-1993, college: Angelo St.) added 16 points and 5 assists for lost side. Four Berck players scored in double figures. Berck's coach Raphael Pascual rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Lourdes-Tarbes have a solid three-game winning streak. Tarbes-Lourdes moved-up to tenth place. Loser Berck keeps the eighth position with 15 games lost. They share it with Toulouse.
