Very expected game when 11th rankedMetz (11-25) lost at home to fifth ranked Union Rennes (17-18) 89-84 on Tuesday. It was a great shooting night for Rennes especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.4 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists. Naturalized Madagascar guard Johan Randriamananjara (199-2000) notched a double-double by scoring 16 points, 6 rebounds and 12 assists to lead the effort and Gabonese forward Channick Nkoma (203, college: UWF) supported him with 15 points and 8 rebounds. Even 18 points and 9 rebounds by guard Daniel Isay (196-2004) did not help to save the game for Metz . Guard Alioune Bruno (183-2004) added 9 points and 13 assists for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Rennes moved-up to fourth place. Loser Metz keeps the eleventh position with 25 games lost. They share it with Chartres.
