Sixteenth-rankedSPO Rouen (14-20) used its home court advantage to challenge fourth ranked Poitiers (22-13) on Friday. The visitors from Poitiers managed to secure only two-point victory 90-88 . However their fans expected much easier game. Poitiers dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to SPO Rouen 's 36 and made 19-of-20 free shots (95.0 percent) during the game. It was an exceptional evening for center Narcisse Ngoy (215-2004) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 13 rebounds. Forward Jordan Ratton (202-2001) accounted for 18 points and 5 rebounds for the winning side. Five Poitiers players scored in double figures. American guard Trayvon Croft (185-1997, college: Parkside) came up with 31 points and 5 assists and Arthur Bouba (202-2001) added 22 points and 8 rebounds (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) respectively for Rouen in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Poitiers have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Vichy. Loser SPO Rouen keeps the sixteenth position with 20 games lost.
