There was no surprise when 18th rankedALM Evreux (11-26) was edged on the road by ninth ranked La Rochelle (20-16) 81-80 on Thursday. However just one-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. La Rochelle made 23-of-29 free shots (79.3 percent) during the game. The winners were led by guard Gaetan Clerc (189-1991) who scored that evening 12 points and 7 assists and American guard Tyler Thomas (190-2000, college: Hofstra) supported him with 16 points and 6 steals. Even 10 points and 8 rebounds by Canadian swingman Sean Miller-Moore (193-1998, college: GCU) did not help to save the game for Evreux . Forward Yvan Ouedraogo (206-2002, college: CBU) added 10 points and 10 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. La Rochelle moved-up to eighth place. Evreux lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the eighteenth position with 26 games lost.
