Second Stage Round 12: Berck - Tours 97-83

There was a small surprise when eighth rankedBerck (23-15) defeated at home 6th ranked Tours (23-15) 97-83 on Friday. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Berck looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Cuban power forward Grismay Paumier (204-1988) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds and power forward Alexis Thomas (208-1995) who added 17 points during the contest. The best for the losing side was guard Keziah Forest-Lo (197-2004, college: Lamar CC) with 14 points and naturalized Central African guard Baptiste Tackamoud (188-2003) scored 19 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Berck keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Tours and Saint Vallier.
