Rather expected game when 16th rankedLe Portel (1-27) was rolled over at home by thirteenth ranked Limoges CSP Elite (10-18) 105-83 on Saturday. Limoges made 24-of-27 free shots (88.9 percent) during the game, while Le Portel only scored seven points from the stripe. They outrebounded Le Portel 31-18 including 21 on the defensive glass. Limoges looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Justin Lewis (201-2002, college: Marquette, agency: Interperformances) who helped to win the game recording 13 points and 4 assists and the former international Hugo Invernizzi (198-1993) who added 11 points and 4 assists during the contest. At the losing side Lucas Fischer (193-2004) responded with 26 points and guard Kylian Mpete (191-2006) scored 16 points and 6 assists. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Limoges moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with Dijon. Le Portel lost twenty second consecutive game. Newly promoted team stay dead last with 27 lost games.
