There was an upset when 4th placedUnion Rennes (18-20) lost on the road to tenth ranked Besancon (15-24) 98-84 on Tuesday. Besancon looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists. Hugo Cluysen (203-1998, college: NAIT) nailed 18 points and 5 assists for the winning side and forward Simon Correa (208-2004) accounted for 15 points and 7 rebounds. Hugo Kamdem came up with 23 points and 8 rebounds and Gabonese forward Channick Nkoma (203, college: UWF) added 17 points and 7 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) respectively for Rennes in the defeat. Five Besancon and four Rennes players scored in double figures. Besancon maintains tenth place with 15-24 record, which they share with Loon-Plage. Loser Union Rennes dropped to the sixth position with 20 games lost.
