There was no surprise in Le Mee where 12th rankedMetz (11-29) was defeated by fifth ranked Val de Seine (20-20) 88-78 on Friday. Val de Seine made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was center Gaylor Lobela-Nkuna (206-1995) who scored 22 points and 5 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Lithuanian guard Kevin Cham (185-1998) chipped in 15 points, 6 assists and 6 steals. Val de Seine's coach Axel Dao used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Guard Alan Robert-Suarez (190-2002) produced 30 points and Florian Fortas (191-2000) added 17 points respectively for the guests. Val de Seine moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Charleville and Les Sables. Metz lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the twelfth position with 29 games lost.
