Very expected game when 6th rankedUnion Rennes (18-21) was crushed at home by second ranked Andrezieux (21-19) 91-72 on Friday. SCABB outrebounded Rennes 42-31 including a 32-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. SCABB looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. The best player for the winners was guard Kameronn Selebangue (190-2004) who scored 18 points and 8 assists. Nelson Cece (200-2002) chipped in 11 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Andrezieux players scored in double figures. Andrezieux's coach Azzedine Labouize allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Hugo Kamdem produced 23 points and Gabonese forward Channick Nkoma (203, college: UWF) added 9 points and 12 rebounds respectively for the hosts. SCABB maintains second position with 21-19 record having eleven points less than leader Saint Vallier, which they share with Fougeres and Lyon. Rennes lost third consecutive game.
