Everything went according to plan when seventh rankedBerck (24-15) beat at home 13th ranked Les Sables (20-20) 81-77 on Friday. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. The best player for the winners was Cuban power forward Grismay Paumier (204-1988) who had a double-double by scoring 15 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists. American guard Raijon Kelly (193-1993, college: Angelo St.) chipped in 18 points and 5 assists. Four Berck players scored in double figures. Forward Thomas Klein (201-2002) produced 15 points and 5 rebounds and point guard Louis Prolhac (177-1991) added 7 points and 8 assists respectively for the guests. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Berck have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain seventh position with 24-15 record, which they share with Tarbes-Lourdes. Les Sables lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the fourth place with 20 games lost. They share the position with Charleville and Val de Seine.
