There was no surprise in Paris where 14th rankedPole France (4-36) was defeated by eighth ranked Pays Salonais (17-23) 91-76 on Friday. Pays Salonais shot 63.2 percent from the field. Pays Salonais had a 28-17 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was Jamaican center Warren Williams (206-1998, college: Hofstra) who had a double-double by scoring 22 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Guard Camille Jean (188-2002) chipped in a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 assists. Forward Messi Yangala (203-2009) produced a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds and forward Achille Elouma (201-2008) added 11 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals respectively for the hosts. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Pole France's coach Francois Peronnet tested ten players and allowed the starting five to rest. Pays Salonais have an impressive six-game winning streak. They moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Angers. Pole France lost third consecutive game.
