There was no surprise in Paris where 14th rankedPole France (4-36) was defeated by eighth ranked Pays Salonais (17-23) 91-76 on Friday. Pays Salonais shot 63.2 percent from the field. Pays Salonais had a 28-17 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was Jamaican center Warren Williams (206-1998, college: Hofstra) who had a double-double by scoring 22 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field).
