Regular Season Round 11: Telavi - TSU 79-71
Date: December 27, 2025
Superleague round 11 caused change at the leadership position. Third defeat of league's leaderTSU (7-3) against fourth ranked VSA (7-3) 79-71 was the most important game of the last round. It was a key game for the top position in the league. TSU trailed by 12 points after 3 quarters before a 19-15 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 71-79 at the end of the game. American point guard Demaree King (183-1999, college: Jax State) orchestrated the victory by scoring 30 points and 5 assists. His fellow American import forward Alex Holt (205-2002, college: Mercer) contributed with 8 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. American point guard Quentin Hardrict (183-2000, college: Pitt St.) answered with 16 points and 4 assists and the former international forward Aleksandre Phevadze (207-1998) added 11 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for TSU. TSU's coach Lekso Lapanashvili rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. VSA keeps a position of league leader, which they share with TSU and Margveti.
