Regular Season Round 28: VSA - Brooklyn 72-65

U18 League top team -VSA (20-2) added another victory to their record on Thursday. This time they beat ninth ranked Brooklyn (9-13) in Tbilisi 72-65 . The hosts started the game with a very strong first quarter 22-11 . But Brooklyn won second period 16-14 . However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Brooklyn 46-35 including 32 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a quality performance of power forward Giorgi Dokhnadze (203-2008) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 17 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and guard Davit Chuadze (187-2008) who added 16 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Four VSA players scored in double figures. At the losing side guard Bacho Bliadze (192-2008) responded with 19 points and 5 rebounds and Demetre Alimbarashvili (190-2008) scored 10 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. VSA maintains first position with 20-2 record. Brooklyn lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the ninth place with 13 games lost.
