Very expected game when 8th rankedIverioni (8-11) was rolled over on the road by third ranked Batumi (12-6) 115-68 on Saturday. The game without a history. Batumi led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Batumi had a 32-18 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 38 assists comparing to just 23 passes made by Iverioni 's players. It was a great evening for American forward Miryne Thomas (203-1999, college: Kent St.) who led his team to a victory scoring 36 points (!!!) and 9 rebounds. International point guard Giorgi Ochkhikidze (190-2004, agency: BIG) helped adding 4 points, 5 rebounds and 21 assists. Four Batumi players scored in double figures. At the losing side American-Ghanian guard Isaiah Addo-Ankrah (201-2001, college: Denver) responded with 19 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and center Soso Gognadze (205-1996) scored 15 points and 8 rebounds. Iverioni's coach Davit Rogava gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Batumi moved-up to second place, which they share with Kutaisi and Margveti. Loser Iverioni keeps the eighth position with 11 games lost.
