Not a big story in a game when 10th ranked Wuerzburg (1-4) was defeated at home by fourth ranked Ehingen/Urspringschule (4-1) 63-52 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was naturalized Serbian guard Radivoj Tomasevic (182-78) who scored 23 points and 5 rebounds. Tobias Jahn (204-86, college: Cal Poly Pomona) chipped in 11 points. Forward Felix Hoffmann (195-89) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists and Maximilian Ugrai (202-95) added 13 points and 8 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Ehingen/Urspringschule moved-up to second place in South, which they share with Elchingen. Wuerzburg lost their fourth game in a row. They dropped to the ninth position with four games lost. Ehingen/Urspringschule will face Weissenhorn Youngstars (#6) at home in the next round. Wuerzburg will play against Speyer and hope to win that game.
