An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Itzehoe. Leader Artland Dragons faced 4th placed Itzehoe. Guests from Quakenbrueck (5-0) defeated host Itzehoe (2-3) 78-71. Forward Benjamin Fumey (203-87, college: Valparaiso) stepped up and scored 23 points and 8 rebounds for the winners and Isaiah Hartenstein (208-98) chipped in 15 points and 14 rebounds. Artland Dragons' coach Dragan Dojcin used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Swingman Adrian Breitlauch (193-93) responded with 14 points and 5 rebounds and American guard Courtney Belger (187-89, college: Quincy) scored 11 points.
