Giessen 46ers' coach Denis Wucherer rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. BBC Bayreuth moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with Walter Tigers and Phoenix Hagen. Newly promoted Giessen 46ers keep the tenth position with 11 games lost. BBC Bayreuth will meet at home ratiopharm Ulm (#14) in the next round. Giessen 46ers will play against Walter Tigers (#12) in Tuebingen and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
