Regular Season Round 18: Iserlohn - Recklinghausen 70-60

Leader Iserlohn delivered the fifteenth victory. This time they beat 11th ranked Recklinghausen (5-13) 70-60. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Recklinghausen. Recklinghausen was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for American forward Jerry Brown Jr. (201-91, college: Santa Clara) who led his team to a victory with 14 points and 9 rebounds. Guard Jonas Grof (201-96, college: High School) contributed with 14 points for the winners. American forward Robert Franklin (195-81, college: N.Mexico Highlands) replied with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 16 rebounds and his fellow American import guard Cavel Witter (183-87, college: Creighton) added 14 points in the effort for Recklinghausen. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Iserlohn (15-3) have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They maintain first position in North. Recklinghausen at the other side dropped to the tenth place with 13 games lost. They share the position with Rist Wedel and Schwelm. Iserlohn will play against Hertener Loewen (#8) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Recklinghausen will play against Artland Dragons and hopes to get back on the winning track.
