Very predictable result when fourth ranked EnBW Ludwigsburg (18-6) rolled over on the road 14th ranked Eisbaeren Bremerhaven (6-19) 93-73 on Sunday. The game without a history. EnBW Ludwigsburg led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Eisbaeren Bremerhaven's 30. EnBW Ludwigsburg looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a very good performance for naturalized American forward Adam Waleskowski (203-82, college: Florida St., agency: Three Eye Sports) who helped to win the game recording 16 points and 4 assists. American forward Jon Brockman (201-87, college: Washington) contributed with 19 points for the winners. EnBW Ludwigsburg's coach John Patrick used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American point guard Jerry Smith (188-87, college: Louisville) answered with 16 points and 6 assists and Indian-Canadian forward Robbie Sihota (201-87) added 17 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Eisbaeren Bremerhaven. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for EnBW Ludwigsburg. They moved-up to second place, which they share with B.Muenchen and EWE Baskets. Loser Eisbaeren Bremerhaven dropped to the fifteenth position with 19 games lost. EnBW Ludwigsburg will face league's leader Brose Baskets in Bamberg in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Eisbaeren Bremerhaven will play on the road against Phoenix Hagen (#11) and hope to win that game.
