Noerdlingen held off Oldenburg to reach the next round of playoffs. Giants dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Oldenburg's 20. Giants forced 20 Oldenburg turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. It was an exceptional evening for American forward Jordan Talbert (198-91, college: Missouri So.) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds. Point guard Janek Schmidkunz (183-90, college: Amer.Internat.) accounted for 19 points and 6 assists for the winning side. Four Giants players scored in double figures. Stefan Wess (203-94) came up with 16 points and 7 rebounds and American guard Chris Gorman (180-93, college: Vanguard) added 10 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Oldenburg in the defeat. Oldenburg's coach Christian Held gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win.
