Regular Season Round 23: Rosenheim - Jena II 70-76

Another exciting game for Jena II (11-10) which played on the court of Rosenheim (10-11). Seventh ranked Jena II won 76-70. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Rosenheim. Jena II forced 20 Rosenheim turnovers. Strangely Rosenheim outrebounded Jena II 45-31 including a 18-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a great evening for American Vincent Garrett (198-91, college: Green Bay) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!), 11 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 blocks. Point guard Konrad Glueck (187-95) helped adding 13 points. American point guard Jguwon Hogges (173-86, college: Oregon Tech) responded with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 12 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals and Croatian power forward Dino Erceg (203-85) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Jena II moved-up to sixth place in South-East. Rosenheim at the other side dropped to the seventh position with 11 games lost. They share it with Oberhaching. Jena II will play against Bayreuth 2 (#14) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Rosenheim will play against Vilsbiburg (#4) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
