Heidelberg rallied past Bamberg on the road to claim South title. Don Bosco Bamberg was tied at the half but could not keep up in last two quarters eventually losing the game. BasCats Heidelberg had a 19-8 advantage in offensive rebounds. American center Erica Carlson (193-88, college: Dixie St.) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds. Center Viktoria Krell (183-85, college: Lindsey Wilson) contributed with 8 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. BasCats Heidelberg's coach Dennis Czygan allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American power forward Tori Waldner (196-93, college: Penn St.) replied with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 15 rebounds and 5 blocks and Estonian forward Janett Perv (179-91) added 20 points and 4 steals (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) in the effort for Don Bosco Bamberg.
