Regular Season Round 2: Treuchtlingen - Bamberg 94-77

Very important is a road loss of Bamberg (0-1) against Treuchtlingen (1-0) on Saturday night. Visiting Bamberg was defeated by Treuchtlingen in Treutchlingen 94-77. Treuchtlingen looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Guard Tim Eisenberger (197-91) had a triple-double by scoring 25 points, 13 rebounds and 10 assists to lead the charge for the winners and forward Simon Geiselsoeder (189-91) chipped in 24 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Four Treuchtlingen players scored in double figures. Dutch forward Frederik Adriaans (200-95) responded with 21 points and 9 rebounds and point guard David Schmitt (180-94) scored 17 points. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Treuchtlingen will face Schwabing (#14) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Bamberg will play against Vilsbiburg (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
