Regionalliga top team - BV Villingen-Schwenningen (26-1) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they crushed seventh ranked Fellbach (13-15) 85-59. BV Villingen-Schwenningen dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Fellbach's 24. They outrebounded Fellbach 48-25 including a 19-8 advantage in offensive rebounds. American forward Rasheed Moore (196, college: E.Stroudsburg) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 15 rebounds for the winners and naturalized Greek guard Kosta Karamatskos (194-86) chipped in 11 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. Five BV Villingen-Schwenningen players scored in double figures. BV Villingen-Schwenningen's coach Alen Velcic felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
