There was no surprise in Diedorf where 11th ranked Kangaroos (6-12) were defeated by eighth ranked Loewen (9-10) 83-74 on Saturday. Worth to mention a great performance of American Tyseem Lyles (185-1992, college: Mercy) who helped to win the game recording 25 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) and center Noah Kamdem (198-1998) who added 21 points and 11 rebounds during the contest. American Teathloach Pal (206-1997, college: Sioux Falls) responded with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 15 rebounds and 5 assists (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) and point guard Lucas Mayer (185-1999) scored 26 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Kangaroos' coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Loewen have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain eighth position with 9-10 record, which they share with Iserlohn. Kangaroos lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team keep the eleventh place with 12 games lost.
