Bayern Muenchen made 21-of-24 charity shots (87.5 percent) during the game. MLP Academics Heidelberg was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. American-Puerto Rican point guard Shabazz Napier (185-1991, college: UConn, agency: Alti Sport) notched 16 points (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) to lead the effort and international power forward Johannes Voigtmann (211-1992) supported him with 13 points and 5 rebounds. Four Bayern Muenchen players scored in double figures. Even 15 points and 8 rebounds by Danish Bakary Dibba (206-2001, agency: Blacktop Management) did not help to save the game for MLP Academics Heidelberg . American guard Michael Weathers (190-1997, college: SMU) added 17 points for the hosts. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
