Quarter-Finals Round 1: ALBA - Jena 91-78

Date: November 17, 2025
ALBA Berlin dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Science City Jena's 26 and made 21-of-26 free shots (80.8 percent) during the game. 26 personal fouls committed by Science City Jena helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of Icelandic guard Martin Hermannsson (190-1994, college: LIU Brooklyn) who helped to win the game recording 18 points. The former international point guard Jack Kayil (191-2006) contributed with 18 points for the winners. British-Spanish forward Great Osobor (203-2002, college: Washington) answered with 17 points and Lorenz Bank (198-2001) added 11 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Science City Jena. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
