Eisbaeren Bremerhaven made 22-of-25 free shots (88.0 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists. It was a great evening for Canadian point guard Elijah Miller (183-1997, college: UPEI) who led his team to a victory scoring 22 points and 4 assists. point guard Raphael Falkenthal (191-2005) helped adding 13 points and 12 assists (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line). The best for the losing side was American forward Benjamin Burnham (202-2002, college: Virginia Tech) with 46 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds and the other American import point guard Buzz Anthony (180-1998, college: RMC) scored 25 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists. Five Eisbaeren Bremerhaven and four Artland Dragons players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game.
