ETB Miners dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to OrangeAcademy's 34. They outrebounded OrangeAcademy 53-42 including a 39-27 advantage in defensive rebounds. ETB Miners looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when ETB Miners made 10 blocks. American guard Quashawn Lane (188-1999, college: New Haven) had a triple-double by scoring 28 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists to lead the charge for the winners and point guard Marc Friederici (188-2001) chipped in 18 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Friederici is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Five ETB Miners players scored in double figures.
