Semi-Finals Game 5: ALBA - Bamberg 97-66
Date: June 9, 2026
ALBA Berlin outrebounded Bamberg 40-27 including 28 on the defensive glass. ALBA Berlin looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. 24 personal fouls committed by Bamberg helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was guard Michael Rataj (203-2003, college: Baylor) who scored 16 points and 9 rebounds. International Malte Delow (197-2001) chipped in 11 points and 5 rebounds. Four ALBA Berlin players scored in double figures. American swingman Ibrahim Watson-Boye (196-1998, college: Dayton) produced 16 points and Czech point guard Richard Balint (192-2002, agency: Octagon Europe) added 9 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
