Very predictable result when sixth rankedKoroivos (6-3) won against 15th ranked Near East (2-7) in Kesariani 77-72 on Sunday. Koroivos dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Near East 's 24. Koroivos looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Guard Aristotelis Zaraidonis (198-1998) nailed 18 points and 9 rebounds for the winning side and American point guard RJ Glasper (183-1998, college: UIW) accounted for 18 points and 7 assists. Guard Stergios Prapas (198-2002, agency: Octagon Europe) came up with 18 points and 6 rebounds and power forward Georgios Kalianiotis (200-2002) added 17 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Near East in the defeat. Four Near East players scored in double figures. Near East's coach Dimitris Papadopoulos tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Koroivos moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Panerythraikos and Megaridas. Newly promoted Near East keeps the fifteenth position with seven games lost. They share it with Vikos.
