Not a big story in a game in Athens where 6th rankedDoxa Lefkadas (8-6) was defeated by third ranked Psychikou (10-4) 78-73 . Psychikou shot the lights out from three nailing 13 long-distance shots on high 52.0 percentage. American guard Joe Bryant Jr (185-2000, college: Norfolk St., agency: BIG) orchestrated the victory by scoring 26 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists (was perfect 11-for-11 from the free throw line !!!). Center Georgios Diamantakos (215-1995, agency: Octagon Europe) contributed with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds (perfect from the field making all six shots) for the winners. Bryant Jr. is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. American swingman Rashad Madden (198-1992, college: Arkansas) replied with 20 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) and power forward Ioannis Sachpatzidis (209-1993) added 14 points in the effort for Doxa Lefkadas. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Psychikou maintains third position with 10-4 record having just two points less than leader Mykonou. Doxa Lefkadas at the other side dropped to the fifth place with six games lost. They share the position with Proteas and Koroivos.
