Everything went according to plan when second rankedMegaridas (11-3) outleveled on the road 11th ranked Ikaroi Trikala (5-9) 96-71 . Megaridas made 18-of-18 charity shots (100 percent !!!) during the game. Alexandros Proiskos (195-2000, agency: Octagon Europe) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds. Point guard Dimitris Geromichalos (185-1994) contributed with 15 points and 5 assists (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) for the winners. Four Megaridas players scored in double figures. Guard Marios Poulianitis (190-1998) replied with 9 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and naturalized Nigerian power forward Nikolaos Okekuoyen (213-1997) added 9 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Ikaroi Trikala. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Megaridas have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 11-3 record behind leader Mykonou. Newly promoted Ikaroi Trikala keeps the eleventh place with nine games lost. They share the position with Eleftheroupoli and Esperos.
