Tenth-rankedPanerythraikos (7-9) gave a tough game to second ranked Megaridas (13-3) in Megara on Saturday. Megaridas managed to secure only two-point victory 65-63 . However their fans expected much easier game. Worth to mention a great performance of Petros Geromichalos (203-1994) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 9 rebounds and American forward Craig Victor II (206-1995, college: LSU) who added 13 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. Megaridas' coach Giorgos Mandalos used entire bench in such tough game. At the losing side American guard Terrell Allen (190-1997, college: Georgetown) responded with 15 points and 9 assists and power forward Valantis Kourtidis (203-2001) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 13 rebounds. Megaridas have an impressive nine-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 13-3 record behind leader Mykonou. Panerythraikos lost sixth consecutive game. They dropped to the ninth place with nine games lost. They share the position with Papagou and Eleftheroupoli.
