First defeat of league's leaderAEK Betsson (4-1) against sixth ranked Peristeri (3-1) 79-66 was the most important game of the last round. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of AEK Betsson. 26 personal fouls committed by AEK Betsson helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American guard Ty Nichols (190-1996, college: Keene St.) orchestrated the victory by scoring 21 points and 5 assists. His fellow American import swingman Jake Van Tubbergen (201-1998, college: GVSU) contributed with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Four Peristeri players scored in double figures. Lithuanian Mindaugas Kuzminskas (205-1989) answered with 11 points and 5 rebounds and Lithuanian point guard Lukas Lekavicius (180-1994) added 9 points in the effort for AEK Betsson. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Peristeri moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Panathinaikos. AEK Betsson at the other side dropped to the second position with one game lost. They share it with PAOK. They were replaced at the leadership position by Olympiacos.
