The most exciting game of round 9 in the Elite League took place in Lavrio. This derby game ended with only two-point home defeat of 6th rankedLavrio (4-5) to first ranked Lefkadas (8-1) 82-80 on Saturday evening. Guest team only slightly avoided a big embarassment. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Lavrio. It was a good game for Daniel Trent who led his team to a victory with 17 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Lefkadas have an impressive series of eight victories in a row. They maintain first place with 8-1 record, which they share with Proteas and Vikos. Lavrio at the other side dropped to the ninth position with five games lost. They share it with 3 other teams.
