No shocking result in a game in Athens where fifth rankedMegaridas (8-3) edged 13th ranked Papagou (4-7) 82-81 on Saturday. Megaridas forced 22 Papagou turnovers. It was a great evening for power forward Aristotelis Sotiriou (203-2001, college: Adelphi) who led his team to a victory scoring 26 points and 7 rebounds (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!). Kostas Dendrinos helped adding 21 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Megaridas players scored in double figures. American guard Jarrett Adderton (190-2001, college: Columbus St.) responded with 28 points and 9 rebounds and the other American import forward Kaleb Scott (203, college: Presbyterian) scored 21 points and 6 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). Papagou's coach Fotis Karakostas rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Megaridas moved-up to fourth place. Papagou lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the eleventh position with seven games lost. They share it with Niki Volou and Dafni.
