Very important is a road loss of second rankedLefkadas (11-3) against fourth ranked Psychikou (10-4) on Saturday night. Visiting Lefkadas was defeated by Psychikou in a tough game in Athens 65-74 . Psychikou made 18-of-21 free shots (85.7 percent) during the game. American Shahada Wells (183-1999, college: McNeese St.) scored 18 points and 4 steals to lead the charge for the winners and power forward Thomas Zorbas (204-2004, agency: Octagon Europe) chipped in 12 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. Psychikou's coach Giorgos Remendelas used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Vasileios Stavrakoukas (191-2001) responded with 21 points and 6 rebounds and power forward Ioannis Sachpatzidis (209-1993) scored 11 points and 8 rebounds. Four Lefkadas players scored in double figures. Psychikou have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain fourth position with 10-4 record. Loser Lefkadas dropped to the third place with three games lost.
