Very expected game when 14th rankedSofadon (3-13) was defeated on the road by eighth ranked Koroivos (9-7) 90-82 on Saturday. Koroivos forced 21 Sofadon turnovers. American forward Lesley Varner Jr (201-1998, college: UTRGV) fired a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!) and 10 rebounds for the winners. Vasileios Adamopoulos chipped in a double-double by scoring 24 points and 10 assists. Bulgarian point guard Ivaylo Skrinski (191-2007, agency: Octagon Europe) produced 10 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists (made all of his seven free throws) and center Alexis Kamperidis (205-2005) added 17 points (perfect from the field making all six shots) respectively for lost side. Four Sofadon players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Koroivos moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Megaridas. Loser Sofadon keeps the fourteenth position with 13 games lost.
