Very expected game in Piraeus where 10th rankedAmyntas (2-15) was crushed by third ranked Olympiacos (14-3) 92-57 . Olympiacos made 18-of-22 charity shots (81.8 percent) during the game. Olympiacos outrebounded Amyntas 39-20 including a 29-13 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Olympiacos especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.6 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 30 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by Amyntas ' players. It was an exceptional evening for American center Ciera Johnson (190-1997, college: Texas A&M, agency: JCK Sports Group) who led the winners and scored 18 points and 8 rebounds. The former international guard Angeliki Nikolopoulou (177-1991) accounted for 5 points, 8 rebounds and 11 assists for the winning side. Four Olympiacos players scored in double figures. American guard Nicolette Gilday (175-1992, college: Santa Clara) came up with 15 points and 5 assists and Danish swingman Sarah Mortensen (185-1997, college: Villanova) added 12 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for Amyntas in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Olympiacos have a solid series of three victories in a row. Defending champion maintains third place with 14-3 record having just three points less than leader Athinaikos. Amyntas lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the tenth position with 15 games lost.
