An interesting game forAthinaikos (18-1) which played road game in Piraeus against 3rd placed Olympiacos (15-4). First ranked Athinaikos managed to get a 10-point victory 85-75 . It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Olympiacos. Athinaikos made 23-of-25 free shots (92.0 percent) during the game. It was a good game for American swingman Alexis Prince (188-1994, college: Baylor) who led her team to a victory with 18 points and 4 assists. Serbian-Cypriot forward Ivana Raca (189-1999, college: Wake Forest) contributed with 10 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. International Zafeirenia Karlafti (182-1998) answered with 16 points and 5 assists and Serbian-Hungarian forward Tijana Krivacevic (196-1990) added 16 points and 4 assists in the effort for Olympiacos. Four Olympiacos players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Athinaikos maintains first place with 18-1 record, which they share with Panathinaikos. Defending champion Olympiacos keeps the third position with four games lost.
