There was an upset when 4th placedErmis S. (15-8) was defeated on the road by twelfth ranked Peiramatiko (9-14) 85-73 on Monday. Peiramatiko shot 24 for 32 from the free-throw line, while Ermis S. only scored five points from the stripe. Peiramatiko looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was a great evening for power forward Georgios Notis (202-1995) who led his team to a victory scoring 26 points and 5 rebounds. American guard Daryl Banks III (190-2000, college: St.Bonaventure, agency: Diamond Sports) helped adding 7 points and 7 assists. Center Petros Melissaratos (205-1993) responded with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 13 rebounds (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!) and point guard Dimitris Geromichalos (185-1994) scored 19 points and 5 assists. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Peiramatiko maintains twelfth place with 9-14 record. Loser Ermis S. keeps the fourth position with eight games lost.
