Elite League top team -Lefkadas (19-4) added another victory to their record on Saturday. This time they beat seventh ranked Lavrio (13-10) 88-80 . It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Lavrio. Lefkadas made 30-of-33 free shots (90.9 percent) during the game, while Lavrio only scored eight points from the stripe. The winners were led by Vasileios Stavrakoukas (191-2001) who scored that evening 30 points and center Ioannis Kanavos (211-2005) supported him with 17 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Even 17 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists by American guard Dakota Leffew (196, college: Georgia, agency: JCK Sports Group) did not help to save the game for Lavrio . His fellow American import forward Trey Anderson (201-1999, college: SJSU, agency: MSG) added 15 points and 10 rebounds. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Lefkadas have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 19-4 record. Loser Lavrio keeps the seventh place with ten games lost.
