Very expected game when 15th rankedAigaleo (3-21) was defeated at home by fifth ranked Megaridas (16-8) 93-80 on Saturday. Megaridas dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Aigaleo 's 30. They outrebounded Aigaleo 45-24 including a 20-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. Megaridas looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Power forward Aristotelis Sotiriou (203-2001, college: Adelphi) fired a double-double by scoring 17 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Naturalized Australian swingman Nicolas Pozoglou (196-1996) chipped in a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds. Megaridas' coach Giorgos Mandalos used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American point guard Christian Bradford (185-1995, college: Radford) produced a double-double by scoring 27 points, 5 rebounds and 11 assists and guard Andreas Koustenis (190-2006) added 22 points respectively for lost side. Five Megaridas and four Aigaleo players scored in double figures. Megaridas have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Proteas. Aigaleo lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the fifteenth position with 21 games lost.
