Everything went according to plan in Ioannina where second rankedVikos (18-6) beat 5th ranked Ermis S. (15-9) 82-70 on Monday. Naturalized Russian guard Thanasis Tsoukas (190-2001) fired 18 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. point guard Sarandis Mastrogiannopoulos (194-1997, agency: Octagon Europe) chipped in 11 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists. Vikos I.'s coach Antreas Moisiadis used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Forward Andreas Kanonidis (200-1991) produced a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 rebounds and center Petros Melissaratos (205-1993) added 11 points and 9 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Vikos maintains second place with 18-6 record having just two points less than leader Ikaroi Trikala. Loser Ermis S. keeps the fifth position with nine games lost. They share it with Papagou.
